October 2023, where have the years gone?
Well, we've had covid, Which killed lots of people and saw the so called leader of the so called free world tell everyone to drink bleach, fucking bell end.
While over here, we've had umpteen PMs, all of which have been shit, and continue to be shit.
On a personal note, I left my job at the gun factory in Portsmouth to pursue a job that seemed like it might be lucrative. Insurance work you say? Inside the M25 you say? Manager offering me the job told me there's no reason why I wouldn't be on £40k before too long. Shit hot.
There was a reason, that reasons name is Simon Erith. Nice enough bloke, but a bit of a flybynight, and isn't interested in valuing decent employees, and considering he was the one on the phone giving me the aforementioned spiel, I was nowhere fucking near £40k. So I put my notice in. He didn't seem to be bothered.
Went for an interview at a place called Penta, in Portsmouth, MD seemed nice, took me out for lunch, thought it was in the bag. Turns out the other bloke in the interview had something against me as his much unliked/unskilled brother worked a the gun factory and so I never stood a chance really. I'd rather he'd told me before I was there for 7 hours though.
Got somewhere though. So that's good. He starts me on Monday, so I'll have a bath on Sunday.
Not raced RC since March 2021, so that's quite some time as well. Not one person from either of the clubs have messaged me though to ask if I'm ok. Which, to be honest, I haven't been, and I don't want to talk about it either, cos if no cunt wants to message me asking if I'm ok after several months of being off the radar, why am I gonna bang on about it here after a couple of years. What really fucks me off is when you help a mate out after they've had a trying time and you put yourself out for them, and check in with them to see if they're ok, and you do this for ages, but when you go quiet, you hear fuck all from them,
Some piece of shit keeps vandalising my car. Been going on for 18 months now. I have reason to suspect it was the guy who bought my Octavia, 2 and a half years ago.
Still riding motorbikes though, so everything else can go swivel.
